I am... 43
Jul. 28th, 2020 08:00 pmThat's right, my birthday passed on Saturday. I didn't really do much, except go out to dinner with the twins. It's kinda different being able to go out with both of them, now that they're twenty. And by the way... who the hell said they could grow up? Sage is talking about moving to Virginia, and just... no, she's two! (I know she's twenty, but dammit!)
So, we went to Applebee's and had a good dinner, and enjoyed talking, and AJ got to hug his twin, for the first time in a long time. It was really sweet. I didn't get a hug. But that's okay. AJ did, and that's what matters.
At the beginning of the month, I changed jobs. I'm still with the same company, still a pharmacy technician, but I'm no longer on the phones, I'm no longer taking calls from people who don't want to talk to me. Instead, it's all list work? No calls at all, except the occasional call out to the doctor's office. And that's okay, because it's usually just "Hi, this is Cat. I'm a pharmacy tech with [company]. Could you confirm your fax number for me?" And that's it. They give me the fax number and I wish them a wonderful day and go on about my business.
I really like my new job. Same pay scale, same everything, but no phones. And that's the important thing.
Uh, what else. Oh. I have a five year plan to get in a condo and out of renting. It's... gonna be hard. It's hard now. But, with Sam's support, and a few brain space shifts, it should be okay. ( Money stuff )
Anyway, I've babbled enough and bored you enough. Time to go to bed. Gym and then physical therapy in the morning. <3
