So, for my 35th birthday, I bought myself a tablet. It's not an IPad, but it's still very nice and it has some interesting apps on it and functions as an e-reader. Plus, it has some fun games and I can put some music on it to use as a MP3 player for when I go out.

The one thing I can't really do on it is write. But that's okay. I don't mind.

It's something that I found out recently. Why? Because my keyboard on my laptop died. The space bar just would not work. I was panicking that that meant that I needed a new laptop.

It turned out, that it was a very easy repair. Took me less than ten minutes. The longest bit? Figuring out how to unhook the little piece of papery type thing that connects the keyboard to the computer.

Less than ten minutes, and my computer was back up and running and I am able to type once more.

However, while I was working, my tablet refused to work. I was just... *hands* at that point. But, a bit later, I did a soft reset on it, and there it went. It was up and running again.

Meaning all my technology was finally defeated.

Now, I just have to get back into writing. The children go back to school on Tuesday and my writing begins.

So, tell me, oh Internets. I have run across a few other things to play with. Thank you article for telling me about them. Now, I am curious.

I have used Written? Kitten! before, but it's just not enough, but this looks interesting. Because, it'll let me break everything down into 15-25 minute intervals, which is something I need. Honestly, I might download it to see if I can play with it. And what might happen.

... Now back to rearranging the living room.
