The Money Struggle

So, as I posted just two days ago, the plan has gone to hell. Really, it's gone to hell again, and the back up plan ain't feasible.

So. I dunno what to do. We're $15 short on rent, it's the twins' birthday, and I have to work tomorrow.

Next pay won't be so bad. I'll have 12 hours of OT on it. But this coming pay? Sigh.

And Sam's pay got truncated, and now we don't know when or if he'll get that money back. Because it has to be "investigated". (It's got to do with Medicaid fraud and not on Sam's part.)

So, we're short on rent. I have tried everything to not be, but there we are. I'm so tired of it always being a thing. I thought we were in a good position for rent this month, but no. We're not.

I may just pay all but $100 of rent and then figure out how to pay it later. I dunno, that seems like a bad idea, but I dunno what else to do? Someone else be the adult for a while.

And of course, all this means that I can't write, nor work on writing. I'm just maxed out in every sense of the word.

Sigh.
