Monday morning Budget-backing
Aug. 24th, 2020 06:29 pmSunday Night:
So, as of yet, I don't know if I saved any money this paycheck. Mainly because everything comes out of my bank account on Monday. I will see. I've had a dry weekend, because I don't dare spend any money.
Hopefully, with my savings withdrawal, I didn't overdraft my account.
Will have numbers on Monday.
Monday:
So I've done well. Despite having about $200 in things that I wasn't counting on... I still have about $230 that can be put back for the washer and dryer. That's not as much as I was hoping, but it's better than $0.
Now, that's not counting the $86 I need to save for the rent. So, ya know. But I'm doing okay.
I'm just surprised that there's over $200 that I can use for the washer/dryer set. I haven't checked the price lately, but it's about $1700. That's including taxes. Now, I'm hoping to save about $400 next paycheck. That'll give me about $500-ish to put down on the washer/dryer and then hopefully, finance the rest.
That $500-ish will be good. Bring on Labor Day. Plus, I can go to Best Buy/Lowes (depending) because I don't work Labor Day. Why? This new job generally doesn't work on holidays. Now, I will miss the holiday pay, but... yeah, this'll be good.
So, the money situation is this: ( Because it'll get long )
