Monday morning Budget-backing
Sunday Night:
So, as of yet, I don't know if I saved any money this paycheck. Mainly because everything comes out of my bank account on Monday. I will see. I've had a dry weekend, because I don't dare spend any money.
Hopefully, with my savings withdrawal, I didn't overdraft my account.
Will have numbers on Monday.
Monday:
So I've done well. Despite having about $200 in things that I wasn't counting on... I still have about $230 that can be put back for the washer and dryer. That's not as much as I was hoping, but it's better than $0.
Now, that's not counting the $86 I need to save for the rent. So, ya know. But I'm doing okay.
I'm just surprised that there's over $200 that I can use for the washer/dryer set. I haven't checked the price lately, but it's about $1700. That's including taxes. Now, I'm hoping to save about $400 next paycheck. That'll give me about $500-ish to put down on the washer/dryer and then hopefully, finance the rest.
That $500-ish will be good. Bring on Labor Day. Plus, I can go to Best Buy/Lowes (depending) because I don't work Labor Day. Why? This new job generally doesn't work on holidays. Now, I will miss the holiday pay, but... yeah, this'll be good.
So, the money situation is this:
Rent: 866
Visa: 30
Visa: 70
Discover: 46
Netflix: 14
Disney: 8
Apple: 60
AAA: 103
Loans: 95
Groceries: 200
Gas: 20
-------------
Total: 1512
I still get my son's SSI at the beginning of the month, for $783. That'll all go toward rent, as well as $86 of the "saved" money.
But that's okay. I'm okay this week. I have to put gas in my car yet, but that's a simple thing to do. Then, time to stay home and never go anywhereI'm not kidding.
Also I put $40 in a high yield savings account! That's something, at least.
That savings account will be my Condo Account. Meaning, everything for down payment? Goes in there.
But, for now, I'm okay, the washer/dryer fund is on it's way, and I'm sleepy. So, time to go back to work (60 hours this week! I might try to volunteer Saturday, but it depends on a few factors - like if my brain is mush on Friday like I suspect it will be).
