Today, a patient calls about his controlled medication prescription. Says we were supposed to call WalGreens and get the prescription for 60 pills, and not the one for 45. I know nothing about this. He's already screaming at me. I try to calm him down and explain that the only prescription we have, and have had, is for 45 pills.

He starts screaming more.

I try to calm him down and he claims it's all our fault that he got kicked out of his doctor's practice. (I have no idea what this means, it's just what he said.)

He's screaming louder, and it's time for me to go home, and I tell him if he's that dissatisfied to call 1800RiteAid. He claims that he's called corporate on us several times and will be doing so again, because we're "incompetent".

But, he's screaming at me, and I'm trying to figure out what's going on, and then he says: "I'm going to get a lawyer and rape you!" "Good bye sir." And I slammed the phone down.

.... No, I'm not okay.
