Today, a patient calls about his controlled medication prescription. Says we were supposed to call WalGreens and get the prescription for 60 pills, and not the one for 45. I know nothing about this. He's already screaming at me. I try to calm him down and explain that the only prescription we have, and have had, is for 45 pills.

He starts screaming more.

I try to calm him down and he claims it's all our fault that he got kicked out of his doctor's practice. (I have no idea what this means, it's just what he said.)

He's screaming louder, and it's time for me to go home, and I tell him if he's that dissatisfied to call 1800RiteAid. He claims that he's called corporate on us several times and will be doing so again, because we're "incompetent".

But, he's screaming at me, and I'm trying to figure out what's going on, and then he says: "I'm going to get a lawyer and rape you!" "Good bye sir." And I slammed the phone down.

.... No, I'm not okay.

What a jerk.

I don't know what the medication is, but he probably got kicked out by his doctor because he couldn't pass a drug test. Either he was taking more of his Rx than prescribed, or he wasn't taking enough (and was diverting the rest). We had to do that at the pain clinic to more than one patient. He's either addicted and can't get what he wants or he's selling his Rx and won't make the $ he expected to. Just my theory.

Regardless, what a jerk. I would have hung up on him, too, especially after any comment involving the word rape.

Well, the move is done. We turned in the keys and all is done.

I also have moved most of mine and AJ's stuff upstairs and set up our beds.

This... I don't know. I am just exhausted with work.

I also have to go car shopping and washer shopping and curtain shopping and a few other things. Really, I just want another week off. But I don't get it with pay and I can't really afford the week off.

School starts the 27th. So, in the next two weeks: car, curtains, washer, curtain rods... I'm so done.

That's what HR said. I mean, I'm a just a pharmacy tech. I don't know what he thinks I can do? And I tried explaining this to him, but apparently, I'm incompetent and screw up everything. I'm tired.
