Time lapse

I've been very, very lapse about updating here, and can only offer excuses:

- Firstly, I moved across the state, with two kids and only my car. It was a long, hot trip and involved a lot of paperwork at this end, so that took a long time.

- Secondly, I've been job-hunting like mad. I found one, and then it left again. Now, I'm back to searching.

- Thirdly, I'm going to be moving again. Not very far (a couple buildings over), but I'm still moving, and that means time and energy going into something other than writing.

- Fourthly, because of the job search, I've been very depressed. I know it's the economic climate, but right now, I just don't know what to do about everything. I'm working on it, it's just not going very fast.

- Fifthly, we are very close to NaNo. (Writing NaNo and moving in the same time frame? Sure!) I always struggle with a huge dose of apathy right before it begins.

So, that's the reason I haven't been posting/have been scarce for a while.

Now, onto more important things, like writng.

I have been picking at world building for Mira. I think I'm actually getting somewhere, but I'm not so arrogant as to say I am.

Her story is going to be NaNo. I'm actually going to plot it through, eventually, to point out the highlights. Then, look at how it'll go for NaNo.

If anyone wants to friend me on NaNo (even though I rarely go over there...), I'm right here.

For now, I'm going to continue job looking and world building.
