That money thing
Sep. 25th, 2022 10:23 amTrying to save money to spend on the move. Things I'm getting rid of:
- Amazon Prime: Sam has a prime account and I can use that.
- DashPass: Look, we don't need to eat out. We need to not eat out and cook more.
- Gym: I'm not going. I can always go to another gym at a later date, once we get settled.
Plus, these three almost always knock my account into the negative, and cost me account fees, so that'll save money too.
I've already canceled prime and DashPass. Need to go to the gym on Saturday and cancel that.
It'll also help that my cell bill has gone down because I've gotten the phones paid off. I want a new phone. I want the iPhone 14, but I know better. I need to wait.
I'm hoping that doing this will save us money and allow me to buy things for the move. I mean, right now, I have the following things to pay:
- Dad's Train: 2500
- Cars: 4500
- Taxi to Airport: 200
- Moving: 4000
For a total of: 11,200
Then, add in getting into a new apartment: $4000
So, I still need at least: 15,200
That's going to hurt, but at least the plane tickets are paid for right now. Everything else, I just have to trust the gods that this will work. Oh, and work every ounce of OT that I can, if they offer any!
