The cat is unimpressed.
Feb. 10th, 2019 07:54 pmLike, seriously unimpressed.
Why? Well, with Sage moving out, I've begun a reclamation of the house. Where none of their stuff remains, and it's all mine and AJ's. I began in the living room, and surprisingly, with their stuff gone, I can use my entire couch. Amazing.
But this weekend, was the dining room. I fixed the curtains hanging in there, and swept and mopped and even cleaned the table a bit. But my project, for the weekend, really was a shoe rack. I mean, I bought one from WalMart, brought it home, and there were pieces missing. So. Back to WalMart for an exchange, and then home to build it. Built it, and put the shoes on it, reswept and mopped the dining room, and all of a sudden, it's a clean room.
The curtains are hung right, the shoe rack is guarding the shoes. Next weekend? The kitchen. I doubt I'll put up a curtain in there, but I changed out the curtains in the living room too, so that there isn't a glare on my TV. That was this weekend's chore. So, the downstairs is almost complete. I'm taking it slowly because if I go too fast, I'll overwhelm myself. Today was washing bedding and other laundry, as well as video games. (I bought new bedding for AJ and finally put the "new" bedding on my bed. It's over a year old, so... yeah.)
Also, yesterday, I hung AJ's posters. So now he has AntMan and the Avengers watching over him. It makes him happy, and it cost me nothing to finally do it. (They hadn't been hung before, because Sage slept during the day, when I had time to do it.)
( Now, on to Sage )
