Panera Bread has opened several locations that are a donation based cafes. These cafes ask only that you pay what you can, or donate time, to help keep them running. "Pay what you can" is an awesome way to help people eat. And can be the difference between eating, or going hungry.
It's only in a few places:
- Clayton, MO
- Dearborn, MI
- Portland, OR
- Chicago, IL
But these things need to be boosted and put out there. This is what community is about.
