3. How often do you write? Do you have any writing rituals? Say, certain locations, beverages, background music, times of day, target word counts, etc.?
Well, I try to write every day. Whether it be fanfiction, original or even just RP. I try to bang out words for something. With school out that's really hard to do because of children and the like, but I still manage to get some writing in. Usually in the late afternoons and after they're in bed.
I don't really have a ritual. I try to always sit at my desk so that I have a place to write, and I'll normally light an incense and have some water to drink. But background music? I always have something on. I write better to music than to silence. And then I write until I'm done for the day or at least until the thought is done.
4. How much of the story do you know before you start writing it? Do you use outlines?
This really depends on the story. Normally, I have a basic gist of what I want to do in the story. I try to write down "plot points" which are like an outline and get me from point A to point B. Some stories, I know the whole thing. (As with last year's NaNo) But a lot of the time I've got major points and no idea how I'm going to get anywhere with any of it.

30 Days of Fanfiction
3 – For each of the fandoms from day two, what were your favorite characters to write?
Well, Valdemar was mostly OCs and I'll admit that I like just playing in the world. Sparkly talking animals and magic? Sign me up, ya know?
Highlander, LotR and HP were also OCs, and I liked writing the Highlander one better. Because, well, it was just a snippet and it seemed like the thing to write.
Criminal Minds - I loved writing Dr. Spencer Reid. Because he went off on tangents and was just adorable. I like writing brilliant people who do that.
Marvel... oh Marvel why you so crazy?
However, for Marvel? I've got several favorites: I love writing Jubilee. Love her. But alternately I love writing Victor Creed. Because some times you just have to write the crazy and he's so good at being crazy and then not crazy that it's kinda awesome.
4 – Do you have a "muse" character, that speaks to you more than others, or that tries to push their way in, even when the fic isn't about them? Who are they, and why did that character became your muse?
I used to pretend I did, and then I got over. Sometimes, a head person will get louder than the others, but normally, no. I don't have a 'muse'.
