31 Days of Writing
1. Why do you write?
Because unreality is better than reality. Honestly, it'd be easier to answer the question "why is the sky blue?" At least that has a scientific explanation.
Words, written ones because god knows I stick my foot in my mouth, have always been my friends. I remember writing when I was like six or seven and trying to figure out how to write an entire story on the big lined elementary paper.
And scarily, some days, I need my unreality just so reality doesn't drive me insane.

1 – How did you first get into writing fanfic, and what was the first fandom you wrote for? What do you think it was about that fandom that pulled you in?
I... honestly don't remember. I remember writing SuperFudge fic when I was maybe seven? I don't even remember what the fic was about, but I do know I never finished it. Thankfully, that writing, along with a lot of others is completely lost to moves, and my mother's impulsive need to purge every five years or so.
When I discovered the internet, I was currently reading Valdemar. In fact, if not for Valdemar, I wouldn't have met E-Cat or J or several other people (including my ex boyfriend). Valdemar was the first internet fandom I wrote for and the story is still up on ff.net. It's horribly Sue-ish, but I finished it, so I can be proud of it.
