NMU is not far from here! I was actually just there in Marquette on Monday and drove past campus. It's right on the shores of Lake Superior. AND they offer the MFA degree!

I'm really leaning toward WMU. Their housing options are really nice for graduate students? And I'm trying to convince my daughter to move with me. (Her and her boyfriend)

I just... don't know. I've always wanted to move to Charleston, but WMU has some really nice apartments.

I get it. Housing is a big deal in grad school. I didn't have a car, so I needed to stay as close to campus as possible.

CoC doesn't have good housing options?

You know, I was trying to remember how old the kids are, and realized that it's been almost nine years since you came to visit me with them. How is that even possible?

CofC doesn't have anything up on their site about grad school housing. So, I'm leaning away from that. But, WMU has a lot about their housing bits, and how to pay for it and everything. I've got a personal statement started, just have to flesh out three hundred more words on it.

Also, the kids are gonna be eighteen in June. How is THAT possible?

18??? I can't believe it. Wow.

So is Sage interested in moving? Will AJ go with you? Are you applying for the fall, or for 2019?

I'm glad WMU has housing options. That's a big deal.

Sage isn't, no. AJ will go with me, and it looks like Fall 2019 is the best time to apply for.

I'm still working on Sage. Their boyfriend is interested in getting the hell out of here, and my moving is the best chance.

Oh, you have time then. I was going to ask how the GRE went, thinking that you were applying for fall. Does Sage want to go to college? That could be pretty convenient to be so close to a state university.

I'm taking the GRE in May, at the latest. Sage is in college! They're just at Cincinnati State, here in town.
