I'm going to be doing some math...
I need to see something and this is the best place I can think of to do it.
Rent: 2455
Car Ins: 140
Student loan: 40
Credit card 1: 40
CC 2: 70
Loan 1: 167
Loan 2: 246
Loan 3: 252
Disney: 30
HBO: 19
Paramount: 8
Net: 91
Phone: 135
-------------
Total: 3693
Income:
Me: 3400
Son: 967
----------
Total: 4367
difference: 674
What this means is, with just these two incomes, I can afford the apartment on my own. If I'm careful. Which, I can be. I know a lot of my money is going for overdraft fees and the like. Why? Because we can't get ahead. So, time to buckle down.
Now, were I to live with just Son and I... I obviously would not be paying for car insurance, so that would be an expense I could take out. Because I would not have a car, but that's okay. I use the car, I don't mind paying my fair share.
But, this is the key: We should be able to keep money in the bank and I don't know why we can't. Time to really do a LOT of math and figure out where it's going.
