Update
So, to update everyone where I'm at:
- Got a job offer Cannot take the job and will be turning it down tomorrow, I think, officially. It only pays $15.75 an hour and I can't live off of a $5 an hour pay cut. I want to do the job, but they have officially said they can't offer me more money, so that's something that I cannot do. Oh well. It's nice to be wanted, I guess?
- Three more interviews Two on Monday and one on Tuesday. One on Monday is on zoom, one in person. I'm hoping for the zoom one, to be honest, but I'm not holding my breath. The other one on Monday is at a collision center, so I'll be doing receptionist work and dealing with insurance, so... that's a thing? The one on Tuesday is at a financial counselor's office. It'll be receptionist work too. So, here's hoping.
- Writing Let me sum up: AAAAAAAAAAAAH. That is all.
- Editing None done in over a month, because it keeps putting me to sleep. So, gotta restart that.
- Health Oh boy. So. I haven't had my shot (Ozempic) in almost two months. This means that my blood sugars are out of control. But, supposedly, my Victoza (similar to Ozempic) has been approved, but... we'll see. It wasn't going through at the pharmacy as of yesterday. So, gotta call on Monday and see if it goes through then. But until then, I'm stuck without with blood sugars that just won't settle.
I'm in the midst of a fibro flare on top of everything else. It hurts to wear clothing, but I have to because walking around naked isn't something I can do. Plus, can't let anyone else know I'm having a flare because Sam's Dad has been pissy about me lately, and really don't want to rock the boat right now. Because he's getting worse and Sam hasn't gotten him into any doctors yet.
- House So, we've made a decision, mostly due to Dad, that I will clean out my room, put one of the shelves in here for the printer, and then get a TV stand for one of the TVs we have. Then we'll put a TV and my PS5 in here. Because I never get to play it on the big TV in the living room because Dad is always watching something, and I can feel him glaring at my back when I do play. That's something I can't deal with, so we're waiting for Prime Days to see if we can get a stand cheap.
- Crafting I need to get back into my knitting and stuff. I've dragged my yarn out, and I'm not using it, maybe once I get a TV in here. Then, I'll be able to watch TV and knit at the same time, instead of squinting at a computer screen.
So; that's where I am at? How's y'all?
