The Saga of Scotty...

Today was Scotty's surgery to remove the lipoma. It was 1.5 lbs. So, not as big as we feared, but definitely big enough.

430am - I woke up to give Scotty his first dose of 0.25mg of Xanax. Go to doze on the couch for a while.
630am - Give scotty his second dose (This is so he doesn't eat the vet/vet techs. He's.... wild at the vet, and really needs more Xanax than he gets.)
730am - into the carrier, and to the vet! They take him back, I come back to the house, and go to work.
1135am - Vet calls. Everything went beautifully and Scotty was already coming out fighting from the anesthesia.
430pm - Finally off work \o/
520pm - Pick up Scotty.

Scotty screamed, attacked the carrier, fought, and SCREAMED the entire way home and when we got home as well.

Saturday:

Scotty is still cranky but not nearly what he was yesterday. I have some concerns, but... not sure what to do. If I don't see him use the litter box by 11am tomorrow, I'm calling the vet again. Sigh. Poor Scotty.

Sweet Scotty. Glad he came through okay.

When Lily had her surgery, she didn't use the litter box for a couple of days. I think it's normal. At least for poops.
