So that's how normal people feel....
So, this is going to be a saga:
Back in November, my sleep doc prescribed Modafinil for my excessive daytime sleepiness. Like, I was using my CPAP 100% and still sleeping an extra 3-6 hours a day.
But my insurance wouldn't pay for it. So, it required a prior authorization, which means the doc and the insurance need to talk it out to prove that the medication is needed. No big. Happens all the time.
So, the insurance kept asking for more documentation. The sleep doc sent my entire file and they still wanted more. Finally two days ago, the sleep doc sat on the phone with me - for two hours - and with the insurance. It was finally approved.
This morning, I took my first dose.

Is this how normal people feel? Like they're awake and alive and don't need a nap??!!??
I hope it continues like this. Because seriously, I'm tired of sleeping the day away.
In other news:
NEW JOB!!!!! I got a new job today. It's still pharmacy tech work, but it's sitting down, it's on the phone, and it requires my national certification, but! No more face to face customer service and it's a 50% payraise. Sure, the drive is a little further, but I'm used to driving to school, so this'll be nothing.
Start date: January 7th!
End date at Rite Aid: January 4th!
Took my son to Applebees for dinner tonight. He was happy. It was going to be a consoling "Mommy sucked at her interview" dinner, turned congratulatory.
Also; I HAVE OFFICIALLY RECEIVED MY BACHELOR'S! So, that was totally unexpected!!
Now, I run away to sleep.
