This is a bitching post
I understand people want to "help" Sage and I. I get that. It's very nice of them, but....
Yes, it's my house. However, I have to fight tooth and nail for everything in this house. Sage wants to control everything because they're here all the time, and don't want to share anything, including the AC that is only downstairs.
Sigh.
I know that I should stick up for myself, but that requires energy and mental fortitude that the heat has sucked out of me.
And yes, it is legitimately 100* upstairs. Even with two fans blowing on me, I'm sweating like a pig on a spit. But if I go downstairs, it'll end in a screaming match and I just... can't. I can't.
Yes, it's my house. Yes, I pay the rent. And all the bills. But seriously? I know my child is mentally ill. And unmedicated.
That makes dealing with them all the harder.
I'm going back to sweating.
