You know... that may be the wiser choice. Aside from the mountains issue, you won't have the wear and tear on your cars or the risk of accident or flat tires, etc. along the way. Flying IS shorter, and I'm sure Scotty will be okay. I've gotten kitty xanax for Lily before (and still have it for when she goes to the vet).
