Things...
We got the apartment! Meaning, I get my own bedroom again! NO MORE SHARING.
Which, let me tell you is a huge motivator. I'm looking forward to it. We move March 15th. I've even hired movers. Actual like, professional people who do this for a living. Which to me feels weirdly adult. Like, who the fuck am I to pay people to do things that I can do? Sure, it'd knock me out for a month or more, but I could do it.
But, I doubt they'll be doing any of the packing. That's going to fall on me and Sam. Which, okay. We can live in a move zone for a month. I think we need to go through and pack a room a week. Now, my room, Son's room, those will take very little time. But the living room and kitchen? UGH so much time.
But like, I'm worried about making rent. I have to pay rent here until April, and then over there in March and April. So... I have to be very careful about what money I spend. I have the money to do things, but... I still have to be careful and need to pick up some OT in places. If I can stand it.
Like, today I was in so much pain I was physically nauseous. Luckily, my boss was like "Make up the couple hours tomorrow" so I came home early and will work a couple hours in the morning. I may work more than a couple hours, but I doubt it. I need a break.
But back to moving.
We have to get boxes, and get everything ready to go. Because I don't want the movers to pack things, because we can pack, it's the moving part that is a problem. But if we start packing this week that'll get the ball rolling in my brain.
Once we pack the books in the living room, that'll solidify everything. I'm excited, though, because again, my own bedroom again!
March's big expenses:
- Prorated rent: 976.32
- Regular rent: $994
- Movers: 1700
- Regular bills.
April:
- Rent: 1370
- Rent #2: 994
- Regular bills
Okay, so... I'm looking at things. But I can do this. I'll be in debt forever, but I can do this. Sam will help. And that's fine. But I can do this. Deep breath. I can do this.
So, if Sam gives me... $300/month for the rent, that will mean I can afford everything. Also have to find money for Son's new ID this year. (It's just his 21st birthday this year, NBD) Okay. I'm just rambling now.
Time to get ready to sleep.
