Budgeting and Debt

So, it's been two months and one of those months is December meaning a lot of money spent on presents. I mean, I think I spent $400 on presents this year. And one present still isn't here, and Sage hasn't received theirs yet. (It's wrapped and in my living room, they just can't get to me until tomorrow.)

However, I will say that I'm rather proud of myself. While I didn't pay any extra on any of my debts, I did keep up with them and didn't add to them! Meaning, things are going down still.

I'm rather excited, because something is happening soon that will change things.

So, let's get to the amounts:

Car: previous: $10,505.14 Now: $9,992.70
Visa: previous: $468.04 Now: $401.40
Visa: previous: $1320.13 Now: $1359.21
Discover: previous: $1426.23 Now: $1426.33
Apple: previous: $1152.05 Now: $1145.34
Aspire: previous: $1550.68 Now: $1460.49
PayPal: previous: $1179.60 Now: $1215.19
Mattress: previous $665.29 Now: $201.29
Care Credit: $403.09

Some of these numbers are really discouraging. I've been paying! I've been paying a lot. And none of these totals reflect that, except my Mattress payment! I think, next pay, I'll just knock that the fuck out, and then roll half of that payment into my one Visa, and my Care Credit. That'll knock those two out quickly.

Because, let's see, half of $170 is $85, add that to the $30 payment for Visa, and the $100 payment for Care Credit, and that's a significant overpayment on both. That'll knock those out quickly. Once those are crushed, I'll decide what else to do. Gotta get those taken care of first.
